The Benefits Of The Two Essential Oils

As I promised that I will share the other benefits of the two essential oils that I talked about on my last post Here

 

THE TEA TREE OIL

Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of melaleuca alternifolia, a small tree native to queensland and new wales, australia. It’s been used as a traditional medicine by alborigines for centuries.

 

THE BENEFITS OF TEA TREE OIL

-Acne

Tea tree oil can a powerful weapon against acne, as several studies have shown that it helps reduce the amount an ovarall severity of acne.

-Fungal

Tea tree oil has shown to help get rid of nail fungus, when used alone or in combination with other natural remedies.

-Mouth Wash

Research suggestion that tea tree oil may fight germs that caused tooth decay and bad breath.

 

LEMON GRASS

Cymbopogon better known as lemon grass is a genus of asian, african and tropical island plants in the grass family. It was also used as a medical herbs, because of its scent in the centuries.

 

THE BENEFITS OF LEMON GRASS OIL

-Fungal

Lemon grass oil has a good fungicial properties and may be used to cure fungal infections, both external and internal.

-Kills insects

Lemon grass is quite popular as an insect repellent due to it’s insecticides properties, it kills insects and also keeps them away.

 

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS ESSENTIAL OILS

These two essential oils helped me with the dark marks that was left by the acne. What I did is that I mixed then together in a container both with cocoa butter. Just by putting five drops each of lemon grass oil and tea tree oil and apply on my face. The results didn’t come over night as it took time.

I also use these two beauties when I bath, just one drop each and i must tell that the water feels like heaven and the scent is a plus.

  1. I am a fan of tea tree oil but have never tried the lemon grass oil. I can definitely see using it in a hot bath. I love the smell of lemons. I will have to grab some now that I know the benefits.
